As Landlords we get very little help from the Residential Tenancy Act. If a tenant runs out on the
rent you have to find them in order to serve them with legal papers. You need to know where they work in order to garnishee
wages . Most landlords do not have the ways and means to find tenants after they have left
.
I have started a list of tenants whom landlords have unresulved monatary
orders against.
This list will serve two fold.
I hope it will help landlords to find tenants who have moved out and
to warn new landlords of tenants who have out standing monetary orders against them .
I THINK IT IS TIME US LANDLORDS STICK
TOGETHER TO HELP MAKE TENANTS MORE RESPONSABLE AND NOT MAKE IT SO EASY FOR TENANTS TO MOVE FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE WITH OUT DEALING
WITH THEIR PAST RENTAL ISSUES.
If you see a tenants name on this list and you know their where abouts
or where they work or if you are renting to them, please contact the landlord who has the monetary order againt the
tenant and let them know how to find this person.
For legal resons please send me a scanned copy of a Landlord tenant MONATARY
ORDER AGAINT THE TENANT and I will add the tenants name to the list. As well as your contact information. I also will
reqire that you contact me if the Tenant has paid off the monetary order .Or you can mail me a copy of your order .
