. The picture above is Susie and Black berry on set for the movie "Sandlot 2 The son of the Beast . This new Sandlot movie is due to be releast 2005. Watch for Island West mastiffs in this movie . Duke and Susie were only 12 months old when they were filming this movie . And Black berry was only 3 months old. We were very proude of how well our dogs worked with the trainers and producer of the movie.

WE WILL BE BREEDING SUSIE THIS SPRING 2005, WATCH FOR THE PUPPIES OF THIS MOVIE STAR.

Bonnie Judd from Canine co-stars was the animal trainer who worked with our mastiffs during the filming of 'Sandlot 2 The son of the beast' . I was very please with the care she gave to our dogs while on set and during training . Canine co-stars uses the clicker training methid of teaching the dogs. While watching some of the training I was please at how great the trainers were and how quickly the dogs learned .

During filming there was an ASPCA representative watching over everything to make sure the dogs were treated well . I am sure there was no need at all for her presants because even though it was warm outside the dogs could lounge under a tree or inside their air conditioned trailor. Cold water was available and the best of food and lots and lots of treats for the dogs .

while I was there the children cast in the movie came buy regularly to spend time with the dogs. Of course the pups and dogs enjoyed there attention.
